Hi everybody! My name is Carst van der Werff, 22 years old and for the upcoming year I will proudly operate as the chairman of the 34th MARUG Conference Board! After obtaining my bachelor’s degree in International Business, I embarked on my master’s in Marketing Management last September. While visiting the conference this year I immediately recognized that putting my knowledge to the test in a practical setting was going to be an interesting and rewarding challenge. Next to the overall planning of the conference, I will also be responsible for the coordination and motivation of my fellow board members. Together with this amazing team, I believe that we can organize a breath-taking edition. Looking forward to seeing you all on the 14th of March 2023!

Hi! My name is Femke Leusink and I am 21 years old. Next year I will fulfill the role of Secretary, Theme & Speakers in the MARUG Conference Board 2022-2023. This year I start with my new bachelor Economics and Business Economics, which I am really looking forward to. After I already have experience with some informal committees, the MARUG Conference Board seemed to me a great opportunity to take the next step. Next to my secretarial tasks, I will be responsible for developing the theme of the 34th MARUG Conference such and will also find speakers. I hope to learn a lot from this experience and have a great time with my fellow board members. We all have one goal; to make this version of the MARUG Conference just as amazing as the last ones. Hi! My name is Pim Opdam, I am 22 years old and I will fulfill the role of external relations on the MARUG Conference Board 2022/2023. I will be responsible for the acquisition of our partners. Next year, I plan to finish my study in Business Administration following the track Business & Management. I am looking forward to gaining experience in the field of business and developing my professional as well as my personal skills. I am very excited to host this event with my fellow board members, and I hope to see you all on the 14th of march!

Hello! My name is Tim van Noord, I’m 22 years old and I will fulfill the role of treasurer in the 34th MARUG Conference Board. Next to being treasurer, I will responsible for the acquisition together with Pim. I’m currently in my final year of my International Business Bachelor. Organizing this conference with my fellow board members is a great opportunity from which I hope to learn a lot.

Hi everyone! My name is Anna van Althuis and I am 24 years old. This year I will fulfill the position of Day Organization within the 34th MARUG Conference Board. Currently, I am finishing a pre-master’s degree in Business Administration and before I start my master’s degree, I hope to organize a fantastic event together with my fellow board members. Within the board I will be responsible for the day planning, the business participants, the day organization committee, and the contact with MartiniPlaza. After attending last year’s conference, I became excited to apply for the 34th board. I am really looking forward to organizing the conference, developing my professional and personal skills, and gaining some experience in the field of business. I hope to see you all there!

Hi! My name is Else Kok, I am 21 years old and I am in my third year of my bachelor Business Administration. I will fulfill the position of PR & Promotion within the 34th MARUG Conference Board. For this role I will be responsible for designing the website, posters, advertisements and flyers. Organizing the MARUG Conference gives me the opportunity to put my knowledge gained from the bachelor Business Administration into practice. I am looking forward to develop my professional skills and to gain experience in the field of marketing.
