The 35th MARUG Conference will be organized by the MARUG Conference Board 2023-2024. 

The MARUG Conference Board 2023-2024 is constituted as follows:

Hi everybody, my name is Stefan van Veen and I am 23 years old. For the upcoming year I will proudly operate as the chairman of the 35th MARUG Conference Board. After a year of traveling and studying in Middle/South-America, I finished my Bachelor’s degree in International Business. In September I will start my Master’s degree in Economic Development & Globalization. I have always had a great interest in marketing and therefore, the MARUG Conference board will be a great opportunity to embark on this interest. Besides my studies, I will be responsible for the general planning of the MARUG Conference together with the coordination and motivation of my fellow board members. With my fantastic team, I believe that we will organize a very successful conference which will be highly insightful for both students and organizations.

Theme and Speakers I & Secretary: Jade Wezenbeek

Hi everyone! My name is Jade Wezenbeek and I am 20 years old. Currently, I am in my third year of the bachelor Business Administration and  this year I will fulfill the role of Theme, Speakers and Secretary in the 35th MARUG Conference Board. I will be responsible for developing a theme, finding speakers and a chairman of the day for the conference and secretarial duties. What excites me the most about being a part of the MARUG Conference Board 2023-2024 is the ability to bring the knowledge I have gained during my study into practice and to organize an event that bridges the gap between students and businesses. I look forward to have a great time with my fellow board members and to achieve the goal to make the MARUG Conference just as successful as previous editions. I hope to see you all there!

External Relations I: Joost Derksen

Hi! My name is Joost Derksen. I am 25 years old and I am fulfilling the role of external relations in the 35th MARUG Conference Board. I will be responsible for the acquisition of our partners. Last year I completed my Pre-Msc Marketing and will be working on the Master's in Marketing Analytics & Data Science this year. The MARUG Conference gives me the opportunity to work with this great team to organize the biggest marketing event among students. I am very much looking forward to successfully run this event and develop my professional skills even further in the process. I hope to see you all there on the 12th of March!

Hi everybody! My name is Ilse Haasjes and I’m 21 years old. This year I will fulfill the role of Treasurer & External Relations II in the 35th MARUG Conference Board! Last year I finished my Bachelor's degree in International Business, and currently I am starting with the Pre-Master Marketing. Within the board I will be responsible for the acquisition as well as all the financial aspects of the 35th edition of the conference. I look forward to develop my professional and personal skills, as well as my expertise in the field of marketing. I hope to see you all on our conference upcoming March!

Hi everyone! My name is Joyce Lippus and im 20 years old.  This year, I will fulfill the position of Day Organization within the 35th MARUG Conference Board. I am currently in my second year of the bachelor Media Studies. I hope that organizing the MARUG Conference will give me the opportunity to gain experience aside from my studies, which im am really looking forward to. Within the board, I will be responsible for the day planning, the business participants, the day organization committee, and the contact with the location. In addition, I also take on the function Theme and Speakers II, which means I will be helping in the development of this year's theme and finding speakers. I am very excited to host this event with my fellow board members and hope to see you all in March!

Hi! My name is Laura Huyghe, I am 21 years old and I am in the last year of my Bachelor of Business Administration. I will fulfil the position of PR & Promotion within the 35th MARUG Conference Board. For this role, I will be responsible for designing the posters, advertisements and the social media. Organizing the MARUG Conference gives me the opportunity to put my knowledge gained from the Bachelor of Business Administration into practice.
